I watched some clips of him singing other things. Yes, he is good, but I don't particularly enjoy his singing. There's not any emotion and there's nothing different about his voice. And sorry, but I just can't get over those hands (apparently he always flails them around). He's far too theatrical (and not in a good way). Greatest singer who ever lived? Nahhh. Try Michael Cerveris or Colm Wilkinson or Michael Ball or Len Cariou. No, I'm not opinionated or anything ;)
That play always makes me think of John Paul.
ReplyDeleteArchibald: Wheeere in the wooorld, tell me, wheeere in the woooorld, can I liiive without your looove...
John Paul: How about China?
I have no idea what this is, but I have to say, the balding guy's facial expressions and awkward hand motions werewere quite entertaining.
ReplyDelete...or just *were* quite entertaining.
ReplyDeleteUm, that bald guy with the (admittedly) awkward hand motions is Anthony Warlow, only the greatest singer who ever lived, *ever*.
ReplyDeleteRespect the Warlow.
