Disney can be positive about marriage??!!??

So, this is not exactly an extremely intense movie, but David & I went with Nathanael (who'd already seen it) to watch the newest Pixar/Disney movie yesterday.  I for once was actually fairly impressed with how Disney portrayed marriage and family (usually they score LOW in my book for that one).  Anyhow, it was a cute watch...

Also, it turns out being married helps one survive cancer...

  1. I loved 'Up' and bawled through the whole thing.

The DVD is on sale right now for a good price.

Pixar is *revolutionary* in its positive portrayals of the nuclear family. Even though the Barrs of 'The Incredibles' have their rough patches, in the end the family is intact and loving, the parents are strong authority figures who are respected by their children and Jack-Jack is kissable.
